THE TRAIL OF TEARS!

The struggle itself is seen in the word! The Trail of Tears was the forced migration of the Cherokee Native Americans from their lands east of the Mississippi to an area in present-day Oklahoma. It is called the Trail of Tears because of the devastating effects on the Cherokee tribe.

During the Trail of Tears the Native Americans were unfairly treated and sometimes ended up paying the price of death. The Native Americans were pushed around by the trail guards forcefully.
5 tribes were living nations here who were forced to migrate out of their own native country: -
oCherokee
oChickasaw
oChoctaw
oMuskogee Creek
oSeminole
